Be Still!

“We can make our minds so like still water
that beings gather about us to see their own images,
and so live for a moment with a clearer,
perhaps even with a fiercer life because of our silence.”

~ William Butler Yeats

  1. Beautiful image with a calming serene expression. It’s amazing how effective silence can be. It provides a true opportunity to listen and “HEAR” what another person is saying.

Sorry for the delay in communication. My mother just passed and I am helping my father through the process. My writing and responses will be light through September. Looking forward to getting back with the “community” starting in October.

    • So sorry to hear about your mother, I’m sure the must be a difficult time, but glad you are able to be a help and strength to your father.
We will miss you and look forward to your return. (Family and loved ones always come first.) I’m just now myself getting back to more regular blogging after helping my daughter and grandson in relocating back to Europe.
I pray this will be a deep and meaningful time for you and your father and that the pain of loss will be swallowed up in the joy of remembrance.
