Thoughts on citizenship.

Standard

Sometimes it’s good to remember that first, foremost and above all I’m a citizen of Heaven, that’s my true nationality, “my” country is a temporary place of residence.

While my present abode tears itself apart with Brexit arguments etc. it’s great to recall, (while I’m happy to contribute and be supportive) I’m not truly governed by self-seeking British politicians, and Teresa May is not my true leader or negotiator.

My leader and negotiator is Jesus Christ (who laid his life on the line to obtain a settlement and reconciliation for us with God) and said “he who would be great among you let him be servant of all.”

Perhaps if the UK spent more time in “talks” with God and less with politicians and the EU we might get further. Now there’s a thought!
